Shazaam, very nice post here about tires and sizes. I do agree with your statement about how most street riders go through their tires, buy a new different sized tire, and wham! Better than sliced bread. To really compare 190/50 to 180/55, ride them both new and back to back. Will the street joe rocket see a difference? Probably not as big as they think. On the track, maybe a bigger difference with corresponding suspension adjustments. You helped me in a bit of a dilemma with changing my rear tire size. Both tires are due. I'm sticking to stock sizes but shopping different brands on all the other factors, i.e. weight, etc.

Thank you again. I think you were the most informative with this topic on Speedzilla. If maybe you can add some info on how different tire sizes affect (if at all) suspension settings, top speed, gearing, etc. I would think that going with an overall taller package (on the rear) than stock would make gearing taller or longer a bit, true? How about wheelbase length?
