That $7,000.00 savings was a big incentive. Dave, If you know anything about the engine let me know as information is really hard to come by. All I know is what the typical specs say. Does it have Titainium rods or what? I have seen 139 hp to 146 hp on the same page, what is it really? These bikes do not come with the race exhaust either so that accounts for a chunk of the price break.
I knew they were hold overs from Europe but I did not know there were no Rs for 2004 offered in the US. Any information you can give me would be very much appreciated. One thing I know for sure is that it is way better than the 03 999 I had as far as the engine and suspension goes. I even like the older fairing with the double holes better than the new one.
I am going to be happy with it no matter what. I loved my 03 999 and I am going to love this one too.
